ArcGIS Server supports many service types. The types of services you can publish depend on your ArcGIS Server license. To see a list of the types of services you can publish to your ArcGIS Server site, open the ArcGIS Server Properties window in ArcCatalog or the Catalog window in ArcMap.
- Start ArcMap or ArcCatalog.
- Create an Administer GIS server connection to the server. See Connect to ArcGIS Server from ArcGIS Desktop for instructions on how to connect.
- In the Catalog tree, right-click your server connection and choose Server Properties.
The ArcGIS Server Properties window appears.
- Click the Types tab.
A list is displayed identifying the types of services you can publish to your ArcGIS Server site.
